The crux of the article is that the entrenched hypothesis of close to normal blood sugar level preventing heart diseases might be undercut by the recently conducted study. It describes the dogma in the field of diabetes. It publishes the findings of a new study that might prove that such vigilance over blood sugar levels might increase the risk of heart disease. The strong point in favor of the new idea is the findings of the study. however, the argument has a weak side to it. There is a possibility that there was some adverse effect due to the sudden drop of blood sugar.
